2019, experimental dynamic brand
Dynamic brand and animated logo related to hands and the relationship between them,
left and right, and how instrumental they are in making things possible.

The 'handmade' aspect came about from a wish to remind of their importance with a novel display - not static but in motion and seemingly 'working' continuously.
The idea was in the conceptual stage for a very long time and was inspired by the shaping of pottery as well as the appearance of my own hands' shadow in a diffused lighting condition - the way they faded and concentrated based on proximity to the cast upon surface.
The brand's attitude is meant to convey a sense of excitement and assurance based on the logo's speed alone. The constant shift and slight overlap gives a feeling that the relationship is correlated and synchronized and not independent.
The logo itself is vector based, made into a glyph in a font file with several variable axes to control the speed of the animation and the cylindrical distortion of the shapes. Latest developments into making colored fonts allowed for multiple colors to be used in a single glyph.
Once again, in order to move away from the artificial and digital nature of the piece, a virtual photography session took place in order to bring back some little feeling of humanity.
